Dear Lino,
Well, the deadline for the Nautical Nonsense passed, rendering my work a Naughty Non-submission, but I shall persevere.

the third year fear...
I'm working on a competition brief called "Nautical Nonsense" (thisissomething.co.uk) So, a lot of playing about. Here is some of my development work created with lino printing, paper cutting and a touch of computer editing...

I worked on the design of this book with Pencil Ltd. earlier in the year and finally have a copy. I did mostly photoshoping images and laying out in Indesign.

This is an illustration I did 3 years ago and then reworked recently, it will be published soon in a book called 'Pioneers of British Rail' or something.

Lino Prints for Tukan Theatre

These toucans have been a bit of a labour of love, I have really enjoyed creating my 10 prints, each a little different to each other, I hope Tukan Theatre like them.

Summer BODY of work!
SO...
I have been having a fab summer here in Bournemouth, I have a job working on a temporary tattoo stall on the sea front, here are some henna and Jagua tattoos that I have done at work:

I also bought some chairs, took them apart, sanded and painted them, put them back together and gave them to mum for her birthday! These particular chairs are similar to one that she inherited from her father (but lost to a dodgy lodger) so I wanted to replace it for her, unable to find the exact chair, I got tall stools to go under her new kitchen breakfast bar. Useful!
Cycling back from work, Bournemouth gardens were all aglow, with videos of Glasto' lighting up the deck chairs.

Yes that is whipped cream.
'Experimental Typography' workshop resulted in my poster for the Air Festival, using whipped cream, ribbon, icing sugar and photography. Some Photoshop and InDesign know-how came in handy too. Students from Illustration, Graphic Design and Visual Communication each made a poster for different tourist attractions in Bournemouth.
