Time out from essay writing

I did a drawing yesterday for a girl on fashion, it's going to be screen printed onto a scarf.
I call it: Shattered. Good night.

Narrative

I'm using knitting as a metaphor for telling a story, and dropping stitches for telling lies that make the story not add up.. then I might have a snake coming through the holes, and pulling the threads to expose the lies and ruin the knit and therefore the reputation of the storyteller as it all becomes a shambles. Here is my first sketch and a scan of my knitted shamble:

A Visual Explanation of Language

I have explored what language means to us, asking others to do the same and kept video and audio records of my research.

I don't think that there is a conclusion, its an exploration, there is no answer to what language is, and if there is i am not qualified to judge it, but i wanted to explore how we use language in our different relationships, and how it benefits our life and how communication changed over time.
I'm happy with what I have produced, it's a little rough around the edges but it directly references my research, this is all first hand material.

British Museum Publication

While in London last weekend I found myself working on a book for The British Museum, editing images of artifacts. I hadn't realized how useful a healthy dose of Photoshop know-how can be. Some money in my pocket and something to pop on the old CV. bonus!

my first little publication

My first publication in Midnight Millionaires Club's zine. They chose the narrative Tommy piece shown below. It's so nice to see my own work in print, in lots of peoples hands :)
