Glassprinting

Yesterday I tried impossibly difficult stencil printing onto a glass vase, I think it could look really cool but I have to work out a better way of doing it to make it easier, a lot of thinking about this is next. Hope to work it out!

Good Morning, Bournemouth Cemetry.

I chose a landscape that I found eerily beautiful and went colour mad. I love printmaking.

Welcome to the world little aube!

So.. after a few weeks of having almost entirely given up on my little aubes sprouting, I finally found my first baby, unfurling itself out of the soil! Excited, I carried it around the house, introducing it to my housemates. Welcome to the world little aube!

that's three things that is

The spoon bent and broke, and I chopped a worm in half with it. Poor worm.
I know Size-ism isn't cool, but that fork - small and useless!
The spatula is too important for cooking eggs, I cant risk it.

Learning to Love Landscapes

Playing about with the visual style that I developed in December, I'm trying to learn to love landscapes. I don't like drawing hundreds of trees -I bloody hate it, so with this way of printmaking hopefully I can make it enjoyable! The top two are inspired by a visit to the Russel Coates Museum and Art Gallery, and below is a copy of Raoul Dufy's Racetrack at Deauville. And, yep, I have enjoyed doing these..
